Workshop update – filter, chipping, oils , streaks and final touches / Aktualizacja warsztau – filtr, uszkodzenia, oleje, zacieki i końcowe poprawki – Stridsvagn M/39 1:72 (IBG 72034)

The end is close – with the model that is. First the filter for NATO tanks from AK. Using lighter colours of oils from 502 Abteilung, I’ve highlighted some raised areas of the model and with the darker ones added some shades in nooks and crannies. This should bring some more life and variety to the model, especially in a 1:72 scale where the amount of reflected light is so small. The next step was adding a NATO camo wash from AK with a fine brush to emphasize the details. Finally some chipping was added where the crew would possibly utilize the vehicle the most. All of the equipment have been painted aswell, together with tracks and wheels.

Koniec już blisko – oczywiście jeśli chodzi o model. Najpierw filtr NATO tanks od AK. Używając jasnych kolorów farb olejnych firmy 502 Abteilung, rozjaśniłem niektóre uwypuklone powierzchnie i analogicznie użyłem ciemniejszych kolorów aby podkreślić cienie w zakamarkach pojazdu. To powinno wnieść trochę życia i urozmaicenia do modelu, szczególnie w skali 1:72 gdzie ilość odbijanego światła jest bardzo mała. Kolejnym krokiem było dodanie wash-u NATO camo firmy AK aby podkreślić szczegóły. Na koniec naniesione zostały ślady eksploatacji i uszkodzenia w miejscach, gdzie załoga pojazdu najprawdopodobniej używała go najczęściej. Pomalowane zostały również narzędzia, gąsienice i koła.
